Orans exists for a simple reason: no one should have to pay to pray. Prayers, the Rosary, and guided challenges are here for everyone, with no subscription, no paywall, and no locked content.
The app is supported entirely by free-will donations. If it helps you, and you are able, a gift helps keep it running and growing for those who can't give. If you can't, simply pray for the work. That is a gift too.
Orans has no accounts, no sign-in, and no database. Your favorites and your progress are saved only on your own device. We could not read your prayers if we wanted to, and we never will.
The one thing Orans counts: so we can tell whether the app is helping anyone, it keeps four plain counters. App installed, app opened today, still in use in week two, Rosary finished. Each is a number with no name, no ID, and no cookie attached. We can see that someone finished a Rosary today; we cannot know who, and we built it so we cannot.
Orans also keeps working offline, even with no connection at all.

Your saved prayers and challenge progress live only on this device. Create a backup code here, then paste it into Orans on another device to carry them over. Restoring adds to what's already there, it never erases it.
Every prayer here is a traditional text in the public domain. As Orans grows, new content will be added carefully and with respect for the Church's tradition.
